With the presentation in UK Parobrod in Belgrade, on 23th of December 2013, officially was launched a new project of BAZAART and partners from Serbia. It is named ISLANDS. The aim of this project is the use of drama in education, and to encourage dialogue between stakeholders in education and empower teachers to become agents of educational reform.
The link between the „islands“ is an educational drama through which we learn about cultural sensitivity and skills.
Because it is a redefinition of the social role and authority of teachers precondition for restoring the value system in Serbian society. Because teachers need to remember that they have a very special place in society, that they are a symbol of progress, prosperity, culture and nobility, and their role is big in shaping the future and undertakes honor and immeasurable responsibility.
No man is an island, itself a whole…
